I am a fully qualified and experienced BACP Accredited Integrative Humanistic Psychotherapist and Supervisor with 20 years of experience, practicing from my home in Potton (SG19). This means that I adhere to BACP's ethical framework to guide my practice, ensuring that I am always working in the best and safest way possible with my clients. The BACP accreditation scheme aims to recognise the achievement of high standards of knowledge, experience and development in counselling and psychotherapy.

My experience to date has been broad, working with individuals and couples from a range of ages, sexualities, backgrounds and cultures, and I have been privileged to be part of their individual journeys.  I have seen them through tears, heartache, despair, as well as joy and relief when they start to realise their own personal changes, strengths and growth.

 

As well as my private practice, I work at Garden House Hospice supervising counsellors working with pre/post bereavement, where I have a lot of experience of working with loss.  I also work for several Employee Assistant Programme agencies offering counselling for employees from different working environments. 

 

I am an experienced tutor delivering counsellor and supervisor training and workshops, including Advanced Diploma, Level 5, Level 6 Certificate in Supervision and Working with Young People, Sexuality and Bereavement. 

 

I also specialise in working with survivors of sexual abuse and couples counselling and have previously worked as a counsellor in schools, working with young people and a supervisor at Bedford Open Door.
